We were delighted to be able to take part in InvestIn’s Young Doctor Summer Internship. The programme staged an event that welcomed 80 aspiring students aged 15 to 18, from a range of countries last week, all of whom are interested in pursuing a career in Medicine. The internship is run with support from professionals at University College London and University of Oxford.

As a company focused on impacting the future of healthcare, it was a fantastic opportunity for us to engage in discussions around the emerging digital healthcare landscape, how the evolution of technological advancements are changing how this space evolves, and how the role artificial intelligence, machine learning and digital therapeutics may shape the experience for the next generation of medics.

Throughout the day, we interacted with the students in small groups, where they identified pain points within the current patient journeys and theorised how technology could lead to improvements and solve these issues.

MyPulse COO Raj Kohli was joined throughout the day in various sessions by Dr Anushka Patchava, Christopher Emerson and Charne Banger.

As part of our mission, we hope to inspire future medics to embrace technology and develop a keener understanding of the importance of careers in digital health.
